No Diet Needed- Useful tips for losing weight

I probably have to explain the No Diet Needed, it doesn’t mean you can eat whatever you want but i think if you’d like to lose weight you need to change your mindset (some people call it “lifestyle”). You find some useful tips for losing weight here!

Stop drinking calories

Start drinking water, tea or low calorie drinks. Are you tired of just drinking water? You can make fruit flavored water with actual fruit which are refreshing and doesn’t taste as boring as plain water!

Don’t deny yourself everything

Denying yourself all things you like just because it’s bad: don’t do it! This is the worst mistake you can make because you won’t be able to keep it up. That’s why you should cut down over a period of time and put a healthy alternative in place.

Cut down on meat

Eat less meat (especially pork, beef and fish) and you will feel better after a while. It’s better for your colon, you’ll be able to lose weight easier and it’s better for your skin. These are just a few advantages of eating less (or no) meat. In order to get enough nutritions you need to eat more vegetables, fruit, seeds, nuts, legumes and whole grains.

Extra exercise

People think they need to slave away in the gym to lose weight but this is not true. What you do need to do is exercise and you can do this in many ways. Instead of taking the car start walking. You need to go to the (grocery) store: walk! There are many more ways of squeezing (more) exercise in your daily routine!

Think long-term

It’s possible to lose weight in a short time but you want to keep the weight off as well. This is why you need to think long-term. You don’t have to lose the weight you want within 6 weeks, 6 months is good enough. The best change of keeping the weight off is going slow and changing your eating habits and mindset!
